The Labyrinth is designed for participants who are prepared to experience the frustration and the procrastination associated with the process of making decisions and accomplishing tasks. The course encourages participants to monitor and assess their inner feelings in association with accomplishing tasks, particularly those undesirable tasks. As such the Labyrinth is a journey worth taken to achieve understanding of your own pattern of thoughts when facing undesirable tasks, and how to modify this pattern of thought to deal with these tasks for better accomplishment of your life and work objectives. It helps one to learn how to face the demons of procrastination. This internet based course has been designed skilfully to deliver the contents of the course in an effective way and entertaining virtual reality. The design of the course encourages the students to share their experiences and their progress by using the common journal for daily or regular entries. It appears that the underlining spirit of the course is to exchange ideas and create a pool of knowledge for all participants, including the teacher(s), to access and benefit from. Good luck for all in the pursuit of their worthwhile and honest goals. Monkeith

The Labyrinth Journey |
I found the Labyrinth an enlightening experience that challenged my ability to objectively reflect on my behaviour. In my busy life, I appreciated the discipline of devoting time to reflection, a task the Labyrinth requires of its travellers. I admit that at first the lessons appeared disconnected and this can be a challenge to those of us who are focused on outcomes rather than process. However, I can assure potential travellers that the lessons are well learnt and valuable. The technological talents required are minimal and the tasks practical and simple. This course is an effective resource for time poor people who want to feel more in control of the path they are taking.

Labyrinth |
Well the name is very cool and intriguing. I liked the materials that support online learning because they helped with reflection - a critical element of the Labyrinth journey. While I am old and have spent a lot of time in self-discovery, I still learned some things that helped crystalise my thinking. I have embarked on a new journey and I am using some of the things I learned on the course to "just do it". The daily journal is also a great resource and could be a forum for interaction if we so chose. There are some very thoughtful and funny people who take the journey with you. It doesn't take up a lot of time, it helps you take the time to think about 'you', it is even fun. "Just do it".

DONT THINK, JUST DO! |
The Labyrinth is not an experience to be missed.
It has the ability to entice out of us all the mental processes associated with avoidance that hide with in our subconscious.
An enlightening experience and one with a surprise ending.
Enjoyed the course and the valuable rewards at journeys end.
Regards Jo

the course |
I found the training very valuable. Some of the lessons are very indirect so you have to keep an open mind and trust that everything will come together in the end. I had fun and learned alot. I am hoping to take other courses that Stephanie offers.

Just Do It! |
Prior to undertaking this program, I frequently failed to do things and I felt bad about it.
Now, I find that I do what's important to me and discard the rest and feel good on both counts.
While sustained behaviour change is the ultimate measure of the value of any learning event, I'm very satisfied with the way things are going.
The Labyrinth was a double win for me. Not only did I discover a heap about why I do certain things (and how to change that when it's desirable), but I also learned about how to make technology-based learning work.

Wonderful payoff |
I used to believe that if something was important enough, you turned up and did it in person. Live - with a teacher in the room.
Labyrinth has re-shaped my view of on-line learning. Some disciplines are best broken into small chunks and woven into your experience of everyday life. Procrastination is not for probing in the classroom, it's for experiencing on the street.
Take an email each morning pointing you to an experience in the world - sometimes uncomfortable, sometimes weird - always with a pay-off (although not always apparent at first). Each day you bring the issue of action or non-action to the front of your mind and put new building blocks in place. I came to look forward to the email as almost activity had a benefit.
I feel like I've been given an updated + practical brain operators manual. I appreciate what causing the avoidance and it's given me a new energy to burn through unpleasant stuff. I still fight my procrastination and always will but I'm better equipped and much more aware.
At a practical level, it's helped me in coaching. I have some interesting new ways to move participants towards action and I also appreciate their resistance to act.
The technology was easy and interesting. Click the email link each morning, absorb the ideas, note your task and go to work. Reporting back was good therapy. The real power in this model was the series of self realisations along the way. Hard to get this in a classroom. Also caters well to your own schedule.
Real value - nicely packaged and well supported. Thanks!

TRAVERSING THE LABYRINTH |
I learned a lot of practical, action stuff doing this course. Many of the things about motivation and self-leadership I had known in theory for years, but often couldn't put the principles into practice. The labyrinth gave me the ability to do that, in my own time and at my own rate.
It was very experiential rather than theoretical, and I learned a lot about what techniques actually work for me. It made me aware of my own brain patterns, adn challenged me to be aware of them and use the tools I learned to use these patterns to my benefit - instead of my detriment, as I had so often done in the past.
The benefits of the course are still manifesting in my approach to my work, and I know I will need to work to keep applying the actions that actually change my behaviour.
Being an online student was great, as I could still be anonymous but have a group of people to share their experiences of the course through the Journal.
I also enjoyed the 'game' of being in a parallel universe online, and found the allegory really valuable and fun to play with. The CCS cards provided an important link back into the 'real' world and were a concrete reminder of the Labyrinth during my work days.
Thanks Stephanie & all involved!

what a ride! |
I was very impressed by the Labyrinth. I felt well taken care of, learned valuable skills for overcoming my procrastination, feel so much more in charge of my life, and in general had fun.
I hope you all give it a try! Enjoy.

I started but never completed an online course from another organisation. The content of that course was excellent, but the process was not engaging. The leadership Labyrinth on the other hand had both excellent content and a very engaging process. I looked forward to my daily online line lessons.
One of the advantages of having this course online is that you can fit it into your busy life. I found that some days I was not able to make the time, and other days I was able to complete 2 or 3 lessons. That way I could fit the course in with my hectic work and personal lives.
I highly recommend the Leadership Labyrinth to you and your colleagues. It's an excellent investment of your valuable time. In fact by applying the learnings from this course you will create time for yourself by getting more of the important things done faster and sooner.
Thanks Stephanie and team, a fabulous experience.
